Leveraging Our Workforce

Diversity and Inclusion

At the Soken Group, we respect the human rights of our employees. We prioritize the recruitment and advancement of a diverse workforce regardless of age, gender, nationality, or religion. We acknowledge that the unique background and individuality of each employee form the basis for various perspectives and ideas. Diversity for the Soken Group means leveraging each individual's unique attributes and values to achieve our objectives. We are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion as an important initiative in our continuing efforts to launch new ventures in an era of rapid change.

Promoting Female Employees' Empowerment

To support all employees, especially female employees who struggle with the balance between life events and career aspirations, we have formulated an action plan based on the Act on the Promotion of Women's Active Engagement in Professional Life. Various initiatives are underway as we strive towards achieving our objectives.

Supporting Active Participation by Foreign Human Resources

At Soken, we first started recruiting international employees in the 1980s, and since then, our commitment to fostering diversity in our workforce has been unwavering as we expand our global presence. Today, our international employees play vital roles in a variety of departments, including administration, technical development, and sales.

Encouraging the Employment of Persons with Disabilities

Beyond fulfilling our corporate social responsibility, we also strive to create a workplace where individuals with different personalities and various needs can work together. All of our offices are equal opportunity environments, and Soken remains committed to championing inclusivity for persons with disabilities.

Continuing Careers Post-Retirement

The retirement age for the Soken Group is 60, but in adherence to the Act on Stabilization of Employment of Elderly Persons, we ensure continuous employment equivalent to the stipulated provisions until the age of 65, thereby securing sustained employment for our senior talent. We have established flexible work arrangements, including full- and part-time positions, to ensure that rehired workers feel rewarded for their work and lead healthy and fulfilling lives after retirement.
