SGP Series | Crosslinked Styrene Monodispersed Particles
Product Description
The Chemisnow™ SGP Series, developed using our proprietary polymerization technology, consists of styrene microparticles with a mean particle diameter of 20 μm and 55 μm. Particle size distribution is wide. There are low crosslinking types and standard types. For many years, it has been used as a low-shrinkage agent for fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) molding, resulting in molded items with excellent colorability.
Features
- Styrene particles with wide particle size distribution
- Particle size can be controlled within the range of 20 to 55 μm
- Spherical
- Low specific gravity compared to inorganic particles
Principal Applications
- Low-shrinkage agent for FRP molding (SMC, BMC)
